The YPSL has partnered with one of the fastest growing international academies in Europe to clear pathway for an open educational exchange of youth players starting in 2025.

B1 Sports Academy has a rich history of creating top learning centers around the globe including in Barcelona, Spain and in Dubai, UAE. Many of the best soccer educators throughout Europe create a pathway for talented youth players from around the world in their technical training centers.

Starting in June 2025, B1will work with the YPSL in creating centers of high-performance evaluations and training in three member clubs including ODFC, CM Soccer Club and Cville United FC. These centers will model other international B1 Academies in creating opportunities for youth players to be evaluated, trained and tracked over time by academy coaches.

Edu Lomas, B1 General Manager had this to say, “through our partnership with YPSL clubs, we aim to create strategic educational events that provide top-level training and international exposure to the talented young players involved. Our goal is to work closely with YPSL, club directors, and parents to foster an environment that encourages educational development and creates pathways to future success."

B1 will manage the YPSL’s Centers of High-Performance Training throughout the summer months accepting players to register in this long-term educational and evaluation program. B1 and the YPSL intend to establish a resource support structure in form of scholarships for selected youth to visit Barcelona, Spain for further evaluations and training. This partnership represents a strategic alliance that will expand access to elite development programs within the YPSL, fostering a synergy that supports both the athletic development and personal growth of players, both in the U.S. and in Europe.

Andy Vera, YPSL Director of League Operations said this regarding the B1 partnership, “we are excited with this partnership as both organizations will strive to provide top level academy training both in the short and long-term all while tracking club players development over multiple years.”
